Did u resurface your new flywheel?

Just picked up a new clutch, pressureplate, and flywheel.. Am i supposed to machine the flywheel when i first get it or is this just BS? hehe

btw is the TOB that came in the kit fine to use? My DSM buddy who generally knows his stuff said not to use it and to get a specific brand TOB.. He makes tons of power so I think hes just thinking ahead of himself..

if its a new flywheel then no. the only time you need to resurface a flywheel is if say you wanted to use your stock flywheel over but you drove on your bad clutch longer then you should have.. overtime constantly slipping clutch will damage the flywheel causing it to need to be machined to use it over......

so to answer your question ........... no ................... use only OEM tob's. If its a ACT tob then that is fine also.
