How to clean up the cams???

I got a set of used HKS 272's and i was wondering is there a way, to polish the cams?? I just want to clean the lobes a little bit, if its possible

you really did not give us much info. why do they need to be cleaned? if there rusty then i would think there shot.

soak them in diesel, the minor surface rust should wipe off with a paper towel then

no rust on them, they came off a running car, i just want to polish the normal wear that is on the cam, but never mind taking them to a machinist who is going to polish them for me..

Yeah...you can send them to a cam manufacturer close to you and they can micro-polish...I was just reading how the new 599 GTO did that to gain efficiencies...not sure it is worth the cost though...
