Manual Boost Controller is way cheaper and will be easier for you to install. I've been running my hallman for years with no problems. Get the perrin intake instead of injen.

I could see where an electronic would be nice to have, but I don't know tons about them. I have a Buschur manual unit. When the outdoor temperature changes, you will get changes in how much boost you are producing at a given setting on the MBC. For example, if you set it for 15lbs and it's 80 degrees out, you may see 17 or 19lbs when it's 70 degrees out. That's not exact, just an example. As it gets hotter out, you'll see less boost too. As far as I understand, an EBC would take care of that fluctuation and always keep you at a given setting. Maybe somebody else with more experience can jump in here if I'm not totally correct. But yeah, those are the basics. MBC might be $100 while an EBC might be $300 or so. I never priced 'em out though!

MBC is cheap and affective. I'm using a $40 dejon MBC and it works perfectly. Can't go wrong with Hallman either, 90% use it.
