TC or Tranny! Need serious help!

I went to the track on may 2 and ended up driving back home with a whining tc. It had alln the signs of a death whine and whined on deceleration, so i figgured it was the transfer case. I just bought one from a legit member on here and they stated the tc was fine and 42K miles, so i bought. I just installed it yesterday, put amsoil tc fluid. The install went smooth no problems at all. Well, it has a lil different whine to it now. It does it in neutral and does not whine when decelerating, only gets louder when accelerating. I double checked everything and put 2 qts of mobil 1 75w90 fluid in the tranny also. The only issue i had with the tranny is a lil grind when going into 5th gear. I recorded a video of it to see if anyone can help to see if this is the tranfer case or something else. I went wot also in one of the videos to show how it gets louder. The other that i dont understand is it will not let me boost. It feels like a NA car and didnt want to boost at all. Revving will not blow off like it used either, so im lost and dont know what to think. Here are the vidss any help would be really appreciated. Thanks

I'm just going by my common sense, but i don't think it could be the transfer case if it makes the sound while the car is stationary. I think you have a boost leak and the leak is creating the funny sound. Maby the BOV is shot?

Id do a boost leak test and see if you have a boost leak. That would explain why your car isnt creating boost and air is leaking from somewhere, creating the sound.

also if you have a loud bov and its leaking bad that would explain why you are getting that sound. Its not seeing 18 psi or whatever so when the 0 psi air constantly comes out, the bov sound is like yours is, and not the chirp it should be.

I hope that makes sense, because im totally taking a ballpark guess.

does it only seem to be pronounced in neutral and in one gear only?

It does it in all gears and gets progressivly louder. I am wondering if it is the Tranny. I thank you all for all the responses that you have given. I will try a boost leak test as soon as i can.

It's not trans or tranfercase related if it does it while free revving the engine. What else did you take apart?

I've driven an Evo with a death whine. It's not this.

not fully true, while the engine is running while off the clutch, the input shaft and gear mates are ALL still spinning in the trans. the TC does not spin while the vehicle is stationary.

just fyi i havent seen the video, im at work

input shaft bearing could make a noise like that (inside tranny) but that wouldn't make the car loose boost.
