something is definitely wrong because it won't go into boost at all. The afrs drop to 10.0 then it cuts out... :-(

Looks like you did a lot of work at once. Start from basics, do a boost leak test. Using a wrong gasket on the o2 dump is bad but would not cause you to not go into boost. Check around the v-clamp between the hot side and compressor side of the turbo.

After a very long stressful day and taking everything apart again I found the problem! A piece of built up carbon came off and get stuck so the flapper couldn't shut all the way...FML. Note to self check and recheck everything before install. So frustrating something so little can cripple the car, but I'm soooo glad it was an easy fix. Thanks everyone again for the help! It helped me so everything right and lead me to the wastegate..
