RMR exhaust & Perrin

Hello guys. I was reading alot of threads and I do mean alot that talks about exhaust systems. One thing that got me thinking was that RMR claims that their cat-back system is the only one that is 50 state legal when it comes to sound levels. yet I read that people with the Perrin exhaust say that the Perrin is alot quiter that RMR and yet Perrin doesn't say anything about being 50state legal. is it just because RMR had to funds to test their system and Perrin didn't. Just wondering.

The "funds" needed were just a dB meter - I watched Rhys test the RMR exhaust while I was standing there... If the Perrin is quieter, I'm sure it's fine, too. The Ralliart one is really quiet, too (but sounds great).
