Hi guys. I'm going bonkers here. I have a 99 evo 6.5. With evo 8 motor trans, but I have gone through 2 center diffs and 2 hollow shafts. They twist snap and gernade the diff because it cast, and not forged, has anyone has similar problems or, can I mods the subframe and switch to ofer w a 8 t case and fab a 8diff in the rear? But then will I need custom axles cause I think 4-6 evos stand alone.
My first t case was launching to high on gravel, and my 2nd t case was 2nd gear not doubleclutching or anything just smooth throttle though a rally cross..

Any help would be appreciated.

 

how much power are you running?
what clutch system?

I know that Ralliart make a stronger "output tube", i'm not sure if they are available to the public though

 

tilton twin disc, was around 325, or so, it`s running a 34mm restrictor. ralliart makes the diffs and from what i was told by buffum they still crack, so, i see your located in NZ, lol pm me you # theres alot of parts over there,

 

You should not have problems with the tc with that power...
What's your launching "technique"?
