fp red invidia o2 housing
I drive a 06evo9 rs and am doing a mild build
I am takin the exhaust manifold off to have it ported at buschur and I am tired of mechanics trying to overcharge for simple work !!
I recently purchased a fpred and an invidia o2 housing
Wat I wanted to know if neone could help me out wit the steps I need to take and precatuions to make this swap go smoothly !! This is my first turbo swap I'm doing so any insight and feedback wud be awesome !!
thanks

2) Make sure the invidia o2 housing lines up correctly with the bracket on the block (the part that bolts the o2 housing to the block)
3) I would also assemble the oil and water lines on the turbo while it is out of the car.
4) Tighten all the bolts a little bit at a time with regard to the exhaust manifold to head, and exhaust manifold to turbo. Just to make sure everything seats together properly.
5) Take the radiator out, it makes the install a lot easier because it gives you a lot more room to work with. Also, make sure you cover the AC condenser with a piece of cardboard so you don't dent it by accident.
6) I'm not sure what intercooler or LICP you have but you may need to cut it if you are using FP's race pipe.
7) Disconnect the electrical connectors on your fuel injectors and try and start the car for 5 seconds and then let off for 5 seconds. Do that 3 times to prime the oil line going to the turbo.
I think that's about it....
