So i was just doing some normal driving and decided to boost a little so i hit up to like 4k and i heard a loud pop,

then my car would barely even run so i looked under the hood and seen the hose for my intake manifold had basically all popped off

is this somewhat normal or was my hose clamp just loose?

any advice would be helpful...

Pretty common, get a t-bolt clamp on there.

Get speed density.. I can blow IC pipes off all day and my car still drives like a champ lol. Id say just tighten everything up and if it really was vacuum lines on the intake manifold itself then maybe get zipties on there for extra reinforcement and if it continues to happen you may have something going on causig the lines to blow off. But i think ur ok.

This is common and that is the most common location for it to happen. You can also spray some hairspray on the inside of the coupler and on the throttle body to help it seal. That stuff is sticky! After switching to t-bolt clamps and using hairspray I have never had one pop off.
