Strange boost issue 06 mr

Hello,
i just got a 06 mr and i love it. Im having an issue with it, my boost in 1-5th is .9 bar and in 6th is 1.35. It has injen uicp and intake and gredy bov other than that it is stock. Some insight would be awesome. I did search and didn't find some thing like this some similar but i checked those things , thanks

You are at wastegate pressure. Did you buy the car used? It probably had a MBC and was taken out or turned all the way down in place of the stock boost control solenoid.

Yes, i got it used the first two days i had 1.35(19.5psi) then after that it started doing this. i plan on tbe mbc and a tune soon so hopefully that will take care of my issue

Mine boosts higher in 5 and 6th just cause the gears are longer.. I boost at 26 in the higher gears about 21 in the lower.

Look under the intake to see if the vacuum lines going from your wastegate and turbo compressor outlet to the stock boost control solenoid are still there.

Higher gears put a bigger load on the engine, hence more boost. His problem is he isn't even making stock boost.....not overboost.

I checked the two vacuum lines they are both hooked up the one is T-fitting near the wg actuator and the compressor then that runs to the solenoid then one from the intake to the solenoid
