good question. i would love to see what fp4r cams would do with a Full!

you usually hear of people using S2's or kelfords/cosworths 272's.

The s2 cams very good and so are the fp 4's, kelfords and m2 and are basically the same cams.If I had to buy cams again for my setup I would have gotten the fp 5's.For what you are trying to do the fp 4rs or the gsc 2 cams will do I noticed that the fp 4's have lots of top end power when compared to the s2's.S2 cams are great for mid to slight top end but for your bbk turbo it has great mid power and falls off on the top end so for you setup go with the fp4's..

my vote goes to S2s...best person to ask would be Chad since you are going with one of his BBK turbos but I am pretty sure he would recommend the S2s also...

Definitely, go with the latest GSC S2 grind for a stockblock IX with a stockframed turbo

i switched from comp 272's to the s2's and it was a world of difference. with my bbk full and the s2's with buschur bolts ons i trapped 120 in the 1/4 mile with 93 octane and 26lbs of boost. they are a great investment and solid for daily driving.

you may have the s2's mixed up with the s1's. check out the cam test ams did. the s2's made solid power through out the entire power band. with my s2's on my bbk full it holds power solid to almost 7k where my tune becomes less aggressive. and tapers down. i have heard good things about the fpr 4'sbut have no first hand exp with them.

I made 30 who mid range and around 20 who up top as far as your power dropping in the high rpm its not your tune it'd your Turbo running out of steam... n

On what turbo? I noticed after my cams my boost tapers off more up top. Maybe do to the valves opening more turbo has to work harder to keep up with the extra flow. My car hits 30psi and tapers to about 24-26psi before my cams it went from 30 to 27-28psi
