Does anybody know the approximate weight of 2.0 L 4G63 engine = an assembled block & head, no clutch or flywheel, no manifolds? Like if I ordered an engine from a builder like AMS or Buscher, what would it weigh?

I can tell you the shortblock only as when i sold mine i shipped it db schenkur and had the weight on it if your interested in that

 

I would guess 200 lbs as much as I've had to pick these damn motors up to put them on the stand.

 

bare block 99lb, crank/cradle 48lb, head 50ish, couple lb for pistons&rods, oil pump assembly, pan, I would say 230ish

 

Yeah, what did your short block weigh? Post consensus so far says the head weighs about 50lbs, so with your input we ought to be getting pretty close...

I already listed weights, short block is about 170-180, long block without mani's 230ish
