no man, im just debating what to do at this moment. I have messed with this car so many times, I dont even want to look at it if its gonna cost me a fortune to fix, I may just take the risk and sell it for cheap or trade it off for something more reliable.

I may give in and take a look under the cover this weekend. Im pretty scared to find out whats going on with it.

If it for instance is that, in a nutshell, what would be the right method to go about fixing it.

even if its piston failure it won't cost you that much to fix it. still better than trading the car in

Will need to remove head to check fully. Which there is a howto on here. But if it's a piston then will need a rebuild. As cheap as 1200, but not including labor. Can also be cheaper though.

Hats off to you man , it was that, but now on to the real concern.

The spark plug is not threading into the head, it seems as though there was more extensive damage caused now.

hmmm let me guess.. #1 Cyl?? If So, THiS Is THE SAME THInG THAT HAPPENED TO ME!! Welp you have 2 choices...... 1) Remove the Head and take it to a engine shop and have them re-thread it, or throw a sleeve in it if its bad.
2) Buy a new head.

I went with Option 1 since it was my daily, but i have a fresh head on the side, for when i rebuild my motor in a month or so.

Did you remove the crap from the pistons? Make sure you do that

good luck my friend.

Cost me $60, only because it blew the spark plug out at an angle, so they widened the hole slightly, and threw a sleeve in it, and threaded the sleeve so the plug can go in. Was Same day turn around for me.
