Question Help! Loss of Power when cruising at 75-85mph.

I have an 03 Evo with 112,000 miles on it and recently began experiencing a loss of power when cruising around 75-85 mph in fifth gear on the highway. I would have to let off the accelerator and get back on it to correct it.

The service engine light comes on each time and it's been throwing the P0300 random mis-fire code. I've had the plugs changed, new coils put in along with new boots and wires for them. The shop I was working with thought this would be the solution....but it's still happening. Any one have any solutions or similar problems? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

On an '03, that is the symptom of the P0300 code. Have a tuner fix this in the ECU so that it never happens again.

Common issue dating back to 03 search it out. So many have had the same issue. You can try the 0015 rom which was Mitsubishi's supposed fix to the issue back in the day or simply as stated above disable the code routine in the ECU and never worry about it again.
