I have a friend that is running s2s with the 9turbo. Don't have a dyno sheet or anything, but his car pulls about 3 cars ahead... That's the only difference I seen..

i had the cams with my stock turbo.. turbo lag didnt seem to change much to me, the whole powerband felt much better. overall the car just felt great. i believe there is a thread out there titled "big cams little turbo" that should answer all your questions

awesome, do u have a dyno graph? also ive read the thread about 'big cams and little turbo' reason why im thinking about these cams and a evo 9 turbo lol. my mate has camtech 272s and e9 turbo on his evo 6 and that pulls hard. i just want something different thats all and wondering if the gsc s2 cams will be better

He never took his car to the "Dyno", so there's no graph... It pulls hard up top, probably like a 20whp difference on the stock turbo...

Another big difference is the "lobing"... At idle it sounds sick with it

I gained 30 whp in the mid and held steady from 6,300 all the way to 7,400 roms with lower timing and boost then my old tune with the stock cams..I gained spool and the idle had a nice aggressive lope to it.Go with them your gonna love them the car is gonna be a different beast.

I'm using the gsc s2 cams on evo 8 w/ e8 turbo and you tell a pretty big difference. The car seems to spool faster and top end was improved a lot. As mention above "the lobing" is pretty sick.

MY friend just put these on and dynoed... he made some pretty solid power off them. Tuner said it added about ~35-40hp/tq... his spool is also about 300 quicker... He mentioned that he had to have the rev limiter on if you're using stock valves/springs though. Good Luck.

That would be really helpful. I've been considering these cams as well on my 9 turbo. Any issues with daily driving or part throttle?
