You will be fine

I will say this, I know someone personally running above 600whp on stock trans

Jimbo, as far as spool is concered, its all in the setup. The HTA86 turbo spools at 3500 and continues to hit super hard all the way to 9k with the right setup

Any modding to any car can always cause concern. If you are worried about breaking stuff, id suggest just stick to a few bolt ons, get a good tune, and call it the day.

bingo i have no reason to lie to anybody. the truth does hurt sometimes but its the truth you dont build a car on a strict budget or with the fear of breaking something fact is you will be pushing it harder and unless you have a built block and drivetrains parts are bound to wear out or break.

wow that infomation is so wrong. you have people with fp black hittting full tilt by 4000rps may want to rethink that one. you can buy used fp reds for less then a hta green in the sale forums the turbos are for two different applications put a fp green car and red car on a autox course and see who runs faster. turbos have different feels boss.

you do realize there are two different fp whites. one was a evo 8 turbo and one uses the 9. I think the evo 8 version was fp white rabbit while the later is fp white.

These are not big turbos at all. You coming in with the approach of wasting money I help TONS of people everyday with saving money yet not flushing it down the toilet. Just being real with you

The Evo VIII White Rabbit was a complete bust, I imagine the IX is the same useless turbo. The Green is barely an upgrade over the IX turbo but I see the point with meth and a High Torque application. Go Red or Go Black.

you need to be more cleaner in your response the FP GREEN is barely a upgrade but you can get them cheap now 400-600 dollars for that 40-50whp gain and the new HTA FP GREEN will net you alot more

If your scared of breaking stuff, you might as well stick with the stock turbo.

I ran a White on my car (at high elevation) for one season on my race car back in 2008. I wanted no change in spool, but hoped to be able to hold onto 4th gear just a bit longer before making a shift up to 5th, as the stock IX turbo fell off hard above 5,000rpm (especially above 10,000 foot elevations). For what I wanted, the White was a good choice.

I'd say if you are looking a buying a new turbo, it'd be a no brainer to pick the White over the stock IX...but neither are going to produce huge numbers over your VIII turbo as many in this thread have pointed out.

so just to have an idea, a used FP Red in good shape will be how much just to compare with a new one ?

im sure there's some people changing FP Red for Black next year so is it a good business to buy used... surely it depend on how he was treated

yessss you heard well, FU** FP White and like we said : Oh boy, it's swell to say: "Good Morning FP Red'' (a kind of tribute to USA haha)
