So heres the story... I have a 08 GSR as my daily driver. I bought it June 09 and it had 2k miles from being the test driven vehicle. Last Christmas i installed hks ssq bov and aem intake. The summer after that i was getting prepared for college in reno (live in vegas) so i took it to mitsu to have them make sure everything was good before i drove 400-500 miles. they checked it out and said everything was fine. I start driving to reno and loud clicking noises are comming from the engine. Long story short, mitsu said that my block is cracked and because of my "abusive driving/aftermarket parts and failure to maintain the vehicle"they revoked my warranty. So now im having another mechanic check it out and if i do need a new block which should i get? Im looking to spend less than 5k (hopefully) and i dont want to have to deal with the same problems. So what company should i go with, or should i buy a stock short block?

go to a reputable tuner in your area and let them check it out, im sure they can do it.

boss you are not suppose to bring your car to a not so mod friendly dealer with mods on your car LOL. Only that mistubishi dealer voided your warranty you can go back to stock and try another
dealer.
