Newly bought EVO 7... how do i fix these problems?

Hey everybody, i just bought an evo 7 about a month ago in my home country (Bahrain). But just 3 weeks ago i moved to the US and have been here in Florida studying in college. My evo was bought at a killer deal, but the catch was it had problems, so i thought i would buy it and just buy any of the parts i need from the US and get them back with me on my trip back to my home country every summer/ winter holidays.

Now, my main problems are these:

1. It has a death whine, the t case is bad and so is the ACD system.
2. Whenever i downshift to 4th gear ( from 5th) (even though im going at like about 40-50 mph) it would make a grinding noise ( and yes i AM pushing the clutch fully in ofcourse). So it grinds and if i push it in it does go in gear but ofcourse it makes the grinding noise, just before it engages gear (so from neutral if you push down just abit it would grind untill you fully move the stickshift down into 4th). But when im accelerating fast ( even if i reach like 60 mph,) and shift from 3rd to 4th, it shifts like butter.

Now, as for the t case problem, instead of getting a new case and bringing the whole thing back with me, cant i just buy the "ring and pinion" and then take it to a garage back home and let them install it? or should i just get a whole new t case?

And for the second problem, what parts do i need to fix that?

Thanks alot in advance.

5th gear had a tendency to go bad in the '03 because it didn't get enough oil. Possible your VII has the same issue. Shep has a fix for it! Definitely give them a call.

i would do that but my car is about 8,000 miles away. I left my car in my home country and came to the US to study, so i can only bring back parts with me...

i just need to know what parts i can buy to fix these problems so i can fix it at the local garages back home.
