Is this off a wideband or the stock narrowband sensor because narrowbands arnt acurate. I paid 48 bucks off ebay for a iac off a 2003 eclipse same part number.

You can actuate the idle control using tactrix cable and evoscan.have the car running and click the button to actuate it. If the car stalls you need to adjust the screw on the unit.

Thanks for the post everyone. But, i'm not talking about the a/fs. I mean the o2 reading straight from the ecu is really rich, like 9-10 on a scale of 10.

My check engine light is always on b/c of the rear o2, plus i use it as a knock light. I had it checked a few times and its always the same. just the rear o2 shows up as being bad but, thats the wideband so nothing there. I thought if it was the iac wouldnt it be showing up?

Sounds like your TPS is disconnected or not working.

Hmmm. I'm having a weird start up issue. My car wants to stall right only when I start the car up so I have to give it a little gas. I believe I threw a code and it was for the IAC. To fix this, would I have to replace the iac controller and or iac sensor?

sounds like its out of adjustment....not opening enough for start up...do you have tactrix cable and evoscan?

There is only one part for the IAC. Its that small black piece under the throttle body held in by three screws.

No, but I have a friend that does. Is there something that we could do to fix this?
