Car died, wont start

So i've been doing some logging and found i had some knock on boost. So i went out today to log a couple pulls for a guy on another forum to go over the logs. So i did my pulls and headed back home when i started hearing a ticking sound, almost like the sound of a rock in your treads, from the front of the car. I slowed down for a light and the car died.

My voltage was fine, oil was fine, the injectors were getting fuel(pulled the line from the rail and fuel came out when i cranked it), and i checked all the fuses. I had checked the sparks last night and they were all fine. I ended up getting the car towed(I was on the shoulder on a highway) to a mechanic buddys home garage. He's out of town so hasnt been able to do a look over. Anyways, i popped the timing cover off and when i crank the engine the belt isnt moving. It is still fairly tight on the cam gears.

Anything else I should be checking or any problems that would cause this to happen? The car is fairly stock, just a cat back and apexi power intake.
Its a 95 evo 3.

Here is what happens when i try to start it.

Considering what usually happens in this situation, you got off lucky. Have you figured out why the belt stripped?
