You don't NEED a tune, but a tune would get your more power and getting a tune would be a safe thing to do.

dont think exhaust and an intake wouldnt harm ur car too much without a tune, and especially if you are trying to run test pipes on ur car, i would wait til than.
just my 02 cents

your tuner can reflash the ECU to stock if you need to

If you are not cofortable getting a tune, then don't do it. You don't have to get a tune with those parts. You will be just fine disconnecting the battery and letting the ECU reset and compensate for the increased air flow. If you are looking to eek out a few more hp and bump up fuel effeciency, then get it tuned.

Any part that changes the pumping efficiency of the engine will require tuning. Exhaust and intake changes will drastically change this (for better or worse). Both precieved load and airflow will be off so timing and AFR will need adjusting. Just turn the boost down and avoid extended WOT 4th gear abuse until you fix it

You have an Evo X right? Wrong part of the forum btw. I say you are just fine without a tune.
