MAF removal?

what kind of gains would I expect if I got this kit? Will it increase hsp or is this mod more for conveniene and just removing it. Im looking to get a tune, but Im wondering if I should hold off on it untill get this installed? or I can get this kit later done the road. Thatnks for your time in advance

The Speed Density Kit eliminates the MAF(Mass Air Flow Sensor)

IMO, i would absolutely do it. i feel the car drives WAY better on speed density, plus you will gain power from removing the MAF because its a restriction.

i believe even on a stock turbo, by going to speed density youll see 5-10whp increase. of course the bigger the turbo the more the gains..

SD really sounds like a great setup. The only downside I've read is that it's altitude dependent, so depending on where you take the Evo, there might be issues with difficult starts. Otherwise, you can't argue with free HP.

S.d is amazing !!The only problem is that it's takes time to dial it in perfect so you might have to visit your tuner a couple of times to make it perfect..The car will ,spool faster, drive smoother.keep your afr more accurate till redline, make more power ,and will not buck anymore from bigger cams or vta bovs..

Where did you get this kit from? I'd be interested in looking into it myself. I'm a firm believer in SD (once it's tuned that is). It definitely drives better than a maf when you ave a few power adders as you do.
