tpm17:

patience my friend.. "all good things.. "

yes it's a true bolt-on that even uses the stock spring-bolt/doughnut attachment to the O2 housing... very nice!

and the price? it's called quality.. this is top notch!.. $350 for this dp and testpipe is a bargain when u see the workmanship.

---------------
rebelzx:

the dp is 3" yeah.. it's the only diameter that makes sense here.. in order to keep the turbo cool..

it doesn't actually taper to the stock cat.. the thinking is that if u're gonna get a 3" dp, most people will get at least a high flow cat or a test pipe.. however, the catback does come with a 6in adapter section (which is eliminated when going with the dp and testpipe or h/f cat) which tapers to the stock cat..

Sorry fellas! I have to make it clear immediately that I've spoken too early about the price of the AMS downpipe, high flow cat, and test pipe..

Turns out the price will be higher than posted. This is due to very high parts costs etc.

The prices will be released in the next couple days.

Thanks.

no numbers.. just street-tuned right now...

but i got a 108.3mph trap on sunday with my clutch slipping like mad cus i heated it up big time on my first launch (stupid high engagement point! can't wait for that pedal mod!!).. and i had to leave so i never got a good ET.. just 13.5 with a 2.4 60 ft! that's from being used to getting 1.7's with the stock clutch!

i went from 104 trap with stock dp/cat (but with the ams catback) to this..

stock cams still, btw..

..i'm sure i'll get a 110+mph trap (AMS got 111 with this exact setup) when i dont have to feather the gas down the strip!

haha that was slick. the part about the CEL seems to have been edited out in the meantime, after Diesel's comment. Kind of slippery for a sales tactic if you ask me...

which downpipe + testpipe combo (without some sort of fake O2 simulator) doesn't get a CEL once in a while?

UR test pipe does the job quite simply, I think the question was; will the downpipe (is it an o2 housing eliminator?) alone throw a cel? that's my question anyway.
