Driveshaft for Rallycross

I searched, but all the recommendations I could find were for either DD or drag/ track car related.

I went to the dealer to have my wheel bearings checked and they told me that I have a ton of play in my drive shaft and since the part through them is $1800 (!) I figured I might as well replace it with a better performing one.

My problem is that I will be Rallycrossing the Evo next year, but it is also my DD. I want something strong, but lighter if possible... maybe an Aluminum set up. I looked into carbon fiber, but once I heard WRC outlawed them in their cars I figured that probably wouldn't be what I'm looking for.

Who makes the best Aluminum ones that can handle the stress from Rallycross? Thanks!
