i have just got this 10.5 housing . while it has the crack that is becoming more common altho seems not to cause an issue until you know its there
this housing has clearly had a compressor wheel explosion and left some marks to the exit trumpet.
now my opinion is the trumpet is a precision machined face and for a reason. it should follow the shape of the compressor wheel exactly but with a xx clearance obviously. now with the mishape and someones attempt to smooth the damage i feel this housing has issues.
would you fit it?
