Question Spark plug cover bolts

I have a question regarding the bolts that hold down the stock black spark plug cover plastic piece. When I purchased my car the two bolts on the right side were snapped off at the head(head of the bolt) and I am looking at getting whats left of those bolts out of the valve cover.

Do you think its possible to get those bolts out if I remove the valve cover or will the entire valve cover need to be replaced with a new one?

I can post pictures up if that helps.

Thanks

Removing the valve cover won't do you any justice. Your best bet is to get a punch or file and try to score the head to be able to put a screw driver into it and back it out. Another option is getting a small bolt extractor and pulling it out that way...

are you referring to the bolts highlighted in the white squares?

The bad part about it is my car was in the shop earlier this year to get some parts put on and a tune. Well before I left the dyno I was told I needed a new head gasket. So the head was pulled and cams etc were added. I asked TopSpeed to see what they could do about the broken bolts while the head was off and they recommended that all I needed was a new valve cover.

I am pretty sure the mechanic should have noticed them while he was working on the head.

The two bolts in the white squares would be correct.

If the broke off flush and you can't grab them, try drilling them and then using an easy out. If they are sticking out any, id grab a dermel and turn them into flat head screws.
