? Removing OEM fuel rail inlet line - someone throw me a bone? PICS inside!

I never usually ask for much help but I'm stuck

Trying to install this http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/A...Rail-Line.html so I can go with -6AN fittings all around because I think the only person(s) who like Army Navy fittings more than myself are R/TErnie and STM

Shot AMS an email but haven't heard anything back yet so I thought I'd reach out and see if anyone else has removed the stock fuel inlet line from the hardline attached to the firewall.

Attaching two open end wrenches + my carpal tunnel just isn't working. I'm thinking about trying two small locking wrenches next but there's not much room to work with. Lastly should I be trying to keep the 19mm fitting stationary while trying to remove the small 14mm fitting (the one on the hardline) or vice versa? Using any additional man-strength I feel like I'm going to mess something up.

I installed the same line and I used 2 opened end wrenches and turned both of them at the same time. It's alot easier that way. If you turn just 1 you
Might strip it

I am going to be doing this line too. Is there a good tutorial somewhere? The AMS tutorial are really brief.

Yeah the fitting to the stock hard line is really on there. I think I used one open end and one line wrench.

Whats there to teach really? take out the 2 number 10 bolts on the rail side, loosen the fitting on the hard line. It's a quick remove and replace job. What questions do you have?

Off to SEARS or NAPA for some line wrenches for me then I'm going to use evodood's advice! I'll report back after work.

Success finally. It was a major C U Next Thursday though. Using both line wrenches right next to one another, I put a long thing wrench in between the set of line wrenches and pried them open. Can't believe how tight it was Even with the entire intake manifold (already) out there is little room to work.

Anyway the AMS -6 line is on there now. Just another thing to add to the "things to check as soon as the car starts" list
