just about to start making some intercooler pipes just wanted to know wot are peaple using 2.5" or 3" ,and when peaple say they have 2.5"is that od or id ,i think peaple get confused between pipe and tube
my spec is fairly basic evo9 turbo technics upgrade,skunk2 cams exhaust ,filter ,255lh fuel pump,meth injection ,power fc,boost controller

 

My 480whp 3076r setup ran 2.5" ID pipes with more room to go. Now that I am shooting for 750whp, I run a 2.5 to 3" adapter right off the turbo and 3" all the way to the TB.

 

At your power levels 2.5" piping is sufficient. Most people running below 700hp on this board are doing so on 2.5" pipes
