if i had an extra mani i would probably do it myself as well. just make sure the flange part is not opened up all the way to the gasket size. make it just undersized. good luck to you. post up if you end up doing it.

I say just go for it!! Find a cheap stocker for sale and do it!! Worst case is your our of a little money and you have some new tools to play with! If you do it and do it right you can sell your stocker and financially be almost right where you started! Just make sure you do your research. You never know you may have a knack for it

I just did my cams and valve springs, retainers and seats on Monday. Not only did I save a butt ton of money I have tremendous satisfaction knowing I did it myself and I did it right. I have done everything myself so far and I couldn't be happier!! So just go for it!!!
