re map,,

that graph looks about right...its worth it if u install and tune it at the same time as the rest of the exhaust. u can pick up a used one real cheap, or u can just go with the ebay version which has proven to be just as good as others.

 

how come there is a big deference on where the graph power starts i.e the new one start down at 2500rpm and the old on 3500rpm? suely this will have an effect on the power and torque has the turbo has had longer to spool?? as i've seen this on dyno runs on the road using the same everything but starting the runs at different rpms

 

never the less once on song and the elbow and nearly 2 psi less make more

he's saying that once the turbo has fully spooled i.e 4000 rpm but I still think the difference in spool up starts shouldn't be discounted, although I guess on a road VD then this has a bigger difference due to interia and momentum etc

I think they're trying to say that you need to make sure your flux capacitor is set correctly to see the best gains with an upgraded o2 housing.

 

yeah English saying "song" is when its fully going
Andy is saying spool should also be earlier with a good elbow (i believe that too)
and that the graphs showing spool may be different if logged when on a dyno or from the road
