hrmm its really bad when the bov doesn't open, are you sure your bov setting is not too hard?

I thought the bucking is boost surge....as in when you let off the throttle, the boost builds instead of being vented properly by the BOV....and you get a momentary bucking of the car.

Are you sure you have the BOV installed correctly? It is very easy to install most of em backwards....and if it is installed backwards the plunger inside the BOV won't vent boost properly.

SC~

sounds like either your wastgate or your BOV is openening too soon and then closing again.

Ahh or it could be over boosting and hiting fuel cut but that would be very apparaent.

I have the same BOV. I run 22psi when I am racing. My Turbo xs holds fine with no shims.

Your problem I would think is you have 3 shims in. This increases the spring tension so the valve won't open. With the valve not releasing this keeps boosted air flow against your thottle body even though you have let off the gas.

The idea is to have the spring strong enough to hold your psi and weak enough to let out the pressure when off throttle.

Take out the shims and you will find your problem more than likely go away.

I hope this helps.
