E85 or 93 for road racing?

Hey guys,

Bit of a n00b/obvious question I know, however I'm about to start tracking my 7 in the new year and am gearing up.

Not worried about massive power so stock turbo will remain until it dies.

The dilemma is do I buy high-z injectors and a pump for E85 which is locally available now or stay 93? The power it makes on 93 is plenty ATM as I'm focussing on driving techniques, BUT will the thermal/det properties of E85 make it safer to be tracking on? Or will the extra torque hit it provides be the issue?

I am aware that 90%+ of the time I'll be above 4.5k.
Turbo on my car is slightly smaller than an 03 E8.

Money for a fuel system isn't any issue as I'll run 1100cc high -z injectors, but a new engine isn't being budgeted for a while.

Cheers

e85 for sure. It has better cooling properties and is less likely to detonate compared to 93.

e85 ftw

E85 for sure is better. Went to time attack earlier this year and saw a lot of cars running e85.
