motor/tranny mounts

hey guys just wanna ask a quick question about mounts, i currently have a 9 MR with bolt ons an i purchased the vehicle about 4 months ago, at first the car was pretty much stock with the exception of larger front mount and piping and o2 housing, the car made a rattling noise (mind you) only on 5th,6th and sometimes 4th but only after the car is warmed up and you can definitely hear on the freeway cruising at normal speeds on 6th gear. first i thought it was my stock piping but replaced it with bushur racings bullet tbe and the noise is still there, then come to find out the car has a blox billet front/lower mount. could this be the culprit of what my noise is coming from since the rear mount is stock and cant take the abuse of engine movement due to the stiff mount up-front? im really trying to figure this out as best as i can since i drive the car daily and the noise just irritates me and feel/sounds like something is about to break. thank god nothing has, has anyone had this problem before? and would you recommend i put the front/lower mount back to stock or replace the rear mount for a billet one as well?

thanks in advance, derrick

i have heard the blox front motor mount shouldnt cause as much vibrations as you describe. what you describe sounds more like you have solid mounts somewhere....

the other possibility is if you have few stiff motor mounts, the other oem mounts can degrade faster too. its hard to say without looking at it. also what type of driveshaft bushings you have(this will cause slight increase in vibration too)
