need help if the camshaft is right

hi.. i just recently bought camshafts for my evo 7. i ordered a cosworth 272 cam for an evo 7, when it arrived i recieved a cosworth intake 272 cam and a cosworth exhaust 270 cam but the the 270 cam was labeled with an evo 9 so im thinking its for a mivec engine which i know that mivec engine just adjust the intake side. so now im wondering if the 270 cams will work for my evo 7?

The exhaust cams are the same on a 7-9. Only the intake cam is different on the 9.
