TurboXS downpipe w/stock dump
Hey guys
Threw this combo together yesterday but think it's leaking from around the donut.
The supplied donut with the DP was much larger ID than the stocker and is a bit loose on the dump pipe as it's designed for 3inch. Do I need to use an OEM donut with the OEM dump?
Cheers

Are you using the supplied o2 housing to downpipe bolts? They should be 2 bolts that slide through a bolt cover looking thing.
I had a similar issue where it was not sealing completely at the donut gasket area and was causing a leak. The bolt cover piece would bottom on to the o2 housing and dp acting as a stop from further tightening. I took it off and grind/trimmed it to allow me to tighten it down more, which did the trick.
Its the last piece of the nuts and bolts on the right size. Yours might be aluminum and not bronze like in the picture.
PS only use their supplied donut gasket. The oem donut gasket is too small and wont seal on the downpipe side. If its a little loose on the o2 housing its fine. As long as you get to torque it down properly as I mentioned above it should work. (assuming its slightly loose)

Sweet thanks for that.
Yeah using their supplied bolts etc.
I'll back them off and try and centre the donut again tonight then tighten turn for turn each side.
Yeah as you said, the donut is a little loose on the 02 housing, i'll have a look adn see whats going on with the TXS supplied bolts.
Cheers.

Think of it has having a spacer between the downpipe flange and o2 housing flange thats not allowing the two sections to squeeze together after a certain point.

Just spoke to the local TXS dealer in Sydney.
They told me they two different donut sizes.
One to suit stock dump, the other to suit Invidia sized dumps.
There's my issue, one to suit stock dump will fix it.
Cheers.
