I removed my idle control valve and first noticed it. Like a crusty white substance on the valve and i cleaned it off. THrottle plate has some drag to it at first like it sticks then goes. Only felt with my hand when operating.

Noticed more white residue in the upper intake hoses to throttle. Not sure what it is.

any ideas?

 

Is your filter in good shape and clean? Any vacuum leaks?
