Ok, let me try to explain this and not **** anyone off at the same time.

Turular Manifolds like these, and all others made are the same in certain aspects. Bottom line is this. It is GOING to crack! Its not a matter of, if it will it crack, its when. Its just the way it is. Nature of the beast. They look awesome, make tons of power, BUT its just what happens.

Think about what a manifold goes through in its life. First is heat and ALOT of it. Then is cold, then a ton of heat again, then cold.....5000000 times. Nothing you can do about it. Then vibrations the car sitting and idleing, to driving down the road, to $#!T that pothole was huge! Then is the weight of whats hanging off the end of it, the turbo, the wastegate, oil and coolent lines and fluid, the downpipe, the weight of the manifold itself, thats some heavy stuff. This is the reason the manufacture uses cast manifolds because the last FOREVER! If im going to recommend one, id say your looking in the right place. JMF, Toxic, AFI, Buschur, AMS, ETS, Full-Race the list can go on and on, most of the others on this forum you cant go wrong....Thats because the welding is top notch and most of the time the welding is as good as the prep work before the torch got touched to the material. Also the material is thick enough to handle the abuse for a while. Ebay junk is exactly that, junk. If you blow on them to hard it will fall off and go rolling down the road. So to ask do they crack...The answer is yes it WILL crack eventually, and unfortunately there's nothing anyone can do about it.

JMF makes our manifolds after we protoype them in house and test them.

PS, we have never had a manifold crack. they will last beyond the life cycle of most of these cars.

You can make Tubular Manifolds last if you Stress relief the welds, so that during the expansion and contraction from heat cycles do not break the weld.

One popular method we use:
http://www.thefabricator.com/article...thening-steel#

Also taking certain steps in making sure the turbo is not supported by only the manifold is a good thing. I make a Bracket to support the turbo, also its a Lifetime warrantied Shearer fab unit. 40k miles and still no crack.

i feel intake manis for stock turbos are just for looks but hands down JMFAB is the best mani on the market i think. If you have the money and JM is the way to go, but if you dont a ported intake mani well work just as well.
