Unhappy please help!

hi all, after i got my greddy type s yesterday i try to install it last night.every thing went good except the adjustment screw got loose and fall out.i couldn't find it but before installing the bov i already tune it all the way up. so i took get out for a drive for like 5min . the car run perfect then sunddenly there's this loud pop up sound and after that my car just die. i couldn't go past 3000 rpm at all. can does anyone know where i can get the adjustment to replace my old one. thanks for all your help

If you're lucky one of your hoses blew off. Check them all. If you're unlucky you might have just found the screw in someplace real horrible.

check the intercooler piping that goes to the intake manifold . i am pretty sure thats what it is.

i just put back the stock one.the car seem the be ok now. do u guys know how i can tune the bov using other method. thanks

You can take the BOV to the hardware store and just pick up a nut and a screw there.

Sounds like a hose popped off your intercooler. Same thing happened to me on my Grand National.

I don't think it would damage your engine, but it can damage your turbo if it's not venting properly. To be safe I would put the stock bov back on and until you can get your greddy running right.

It'll probably be too soft w/o any preload on the spring. Therefore, it'll leak under boost causing the turbo to work harder than it should trying to maintain pressure. If you aren't on it hard, it shouldn't be a big deal, but do get it taken care of soon.

should i be concern about the burnning smell after my car bog out when the upper intercooler hose got disconnect?i'm just really concern. thank you
