Exclamation Bushwhacker Transmission/ Clutch Problem w/Video

please check out the following video.

i have a Bushwhacker transmission in my evo 8 (its 5 speed) and it is harder than ever to put the car into a gear. all gears are hard to get into and reverse is basically impossible to get in.
in 2nd gear, if i hold the tyranny back, it grinds a bit

Please let me know of possible issues going on with my tranny. i plan on changing the fluid as soon as AMSOIL arrives in the mail.

BTW
I have had exedy twin plate clutch installed in the car for over a year now

I just got back from adjusting the clutch. It seems like the clutch is disengaging and it goes into all gears with ease now.
I will follow up by changing clutch/trans fluid and readjusting and see if it completely solves the problem.
I do have another question tho. And that is what could have possible caused this problem?? And how could I prevent it from happening againg??

there are two possible cause for this that im aware of.

1. my friend stalling out the car
2. driving around in snow. (Snow kicking up or me hitting something)

Are you sure your clutch is fully disengaging?

Forward this thread to Buschur to try and get them to chime in or help you via PM. They'd probably be able to help you better than anyone else.

Not your transmission. Your clutch either needs bled or it is not disengaging for other reasons. Did this just happen or did this take place after the Trans or Clutch was replaced?
Don

Ps where in Pa do you live? If it is close to Lancaster, I will gladly help you.

#1 Clutch adjustment.
#2 Air in line
#3 Your clutch is shot. The flywheel and or the pressure plate is warped.
Buschur will tell you the same thing.
Not the tranny, unless you do not have any oil in it Ha Ha
Good Luck, Don

did this start happening randomly..or was it after a re install of one of the drive-train components?

nothing was reinstalled.
my friend did try to drive the car and stalled a few times. that might contribute to the problem

you can check out the linkage really quick. just pop your hood and look under your intercooler pipe. you will see the linkage that goes to the tranny. make sure there are no foreign objects stopping the linkage from making full travel.

i had a similar problem and it ended up being a socket that fell into the linkage area and i couldnt get it into gear.

also try to adjust the clutch pedal and see if it helps.

you need to bleed your clutch and readjust so the clutch disengages.
