Intake Manifold porting

I'll be sending my stock intake manifold to MAP for the Rev 2 porting with coating. I plan to keep the stock throttle body at this time. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and have the welded TB flange they offer for 65mm throttle bodies. Are there any drawbacks with doing this? Is there any potential for failure on the welded portion?

They weld and port it for the 65mm TB even if you retain the stock throttle body. Allows you to upgrade to a ported TB in the future.
