Weird noise coming from my exedy triple
i know there suposed to make alot of noise almost like ceramic brake pads stopping but whenever i push the gas to hard i guess before i let out the clutch almost like launching it makes a high pitch noise. just dosnt sound right to me. is this normal or wat? o and i just got the thing installed about 2 weeks ago and have 700 miles on the clutch
I run a triple exedy on my DD. First engagement is the worst. When it gets hot, it sounds like loud grinding noise. I remember when it was first installed i thought my tranny was gonna fall out.

I got the same thing, obviously. Non-car people prob think the car is a POS and is falling apart.
Mine has recently (within the 2 weeks I've had it) started making a squeaking noise on a slower engagement, if I do it quicker the noise will be gone or very faint. But it hasnt done it past 2 days so prob just a temperature thing.
What EXACTLY is the grinding noise? I've heard it's the springs in the clutch which I can sometimes hear a seperate noise which sounds like springs rattling around but what makes that actual grinding noise?

I didn't think it had springs but whateve.
The noise is only when the clutch plates are seperated like when the clutch is depressed, not when your accelerating or decelerating since the clutch would be fully disengaged then and all the plates locked together
