im looking for around 500+ AWHP and i figured FP Black will suit my need
what do you guys think? are there any other turbos out there that will be more reliable/ spool faster than what im looking for? would i be happy with a fp red?

if i buy the FP BLACK turbo, what else do i need? i need new oil feed line right? new BOV? anything else? its already got 9 turbo on there so im assuming that i wont need the evo8->9 converter.
would i need any other supporting mods for a bigger turbo?

any comments/ suggestions would be appreciated!
thanks

That's a pretty good looking list of mods there. I would say that for your goal of 500+ (on pump gas I assume) imo the black would be your best bet if you're sticking with the stock frames. You're going to have to push the red much harder to achieve that vs the black.
Since you have the 9 turbo now, no you don't need the install kit, but you're definitely going to need the oil line kit. You may want to consider a better bov too, based on what I've seen Tial and Synapse seem to be the more popular ones.
The only other mod that I would think to compliment your list is an ign system. Other than that you should be able to hit 500+ relatively easy with the Black.

I would say since you have the ported int and tb, you would benefit from a ported exh manifold also.

I would get the buschur double pumper just to be safe. I think 500hp is pushing the 255 a little beyond its limits. Thats just me though. The build looks pretty sweet man keep up the good work

How do you have a 1G DV with a Tial flange?

I made 460ish on the BR dyno on 93 with an FP Red and similar mods to you. That was with a 1G BOV and a single pump too. I later put on an FP Black and made 520 something (Dynojet sim) on Virtual Dyno, also with the 1G DV and a single pump.

I just pulled off the Black to go autocrossing...

Instead of the double pumper, how about the Aeromotive 340lph Fuelpump or the deatschwerks dw300 fuel pump. Should provide enough fuel pressure for 500whp.

If running straight 91, i think your 1000cc is enough. If you want to be safe just upgrade to 1200cc and sell off your 1000cc. If you are going to do E85 in the future, 14500cc should be enough.

FP Black is nice but the HTA 86/ 6262 would be better.

FP Black and a BR 2.0 is a killer combo! Worked great for me.

I'd go 30hta or 3076gtx.
