Clutch Swap
I have a comp stage 2 clutch kit that needs installed. I would rather do it myself but I cannot with when I am working 6days a week in the military. I was curious to know what the average cost in labor would be for a shop to do it for me?
I am having one changed right now and they are charging me $855. If I knew more about these cars like I do about my Vette for that much I would take the day off and change it myself. I just purchased the car though for my son and dont really know much about them YET.
OUCH!!! They aren't all that complicated and there is a few posts on here that walk you right thru it. Just know have a slide hammer before you start the job as your day will end in a hurry without one...
The 6sp is a pain... If you have not done it or helped do a trans before Not sure something I would tackle if you are in a tight timeline.. The TOB alone can hang you up for hours.. I was quoted 600 in labor when I got a quote for mine.. Why i ended up doing it myself.. Just make sure the shop knows what they are doing..

Ya I figured it wasnt that hard but the car is sitting at the shop now and they are doing a complete engine swap. Taking the highly moddified out and putting a new stock back in. Once I get it home I will be doing all the work myself.
