HKS 7460r on stock block and 93 pump?

Hello guys,

I would like to know what kind of numbers are being put down cars with stock block and 93 pump using this turbo? I have done alot of research on this topic, but not many people are running this turbo on the setup I just mentioned above. Every dyno sheet I see or hear the car has either built engine, E85 or meth. I would like to know how this turbo performs under these conditions. What kind of power is it REALLY hitting.

Also, if any of you guys happen to own this turbo and have switched from another bolt on turbo, please share with me your experience and opinion on it. As some of you know I recently blew a FP Red and I'm considering going a perhaps "safer" route by going with ball bearing turbo and sacrificing some power.

Thanks in advance

It would also be nice if somebody can post the flow rate of the 7460r. I have not been able to find it yet.

Below are a few threads I followed prior to buying the turbo. Realistically you should expect 400-450 whp depending on mods. I really compare it to a FP green in ball bearing form. Hopefully in about a month I should have some good numbers on my 7460 setup and pump. GL

I doubt you can get 450 out of this turbo on pump, seeing as it maxes at around 480-490 on E85 and a built motor.

That's why I started this thread. Some people praise this turbo, while others are a bit disappointed. I know some people like better spoolup and less power and vice-versa, but I would like for the owners of this turbo to post the actual WHP with the modlist.

Thanks alot for the info. I have already seen these threads, however, I didn't quite get a precise number.

I see on your sig that you have this turbo installed, would you be kind enough to share your whp/tq as well as the modlist? Thanks

I have it but it is not installed yet. I'm waiting on my manifold to arrive before I install it. I will let you know when I get numbers though

On stock block? Have you seen these dyno sheets or is it just rumors from peeps to peeps?

Can someone else elaborate a bit on "depending on the mods?" What are the typical mods to achieve 420-430whp on 93oct with this turbo? Because last time I checked, the average FP Red on stock block was 430whp or am I wrong?

-Forcefed made 398awhp on 93 pump. Car/turbo was by no means to its max. (on a dyno that claims to read ~10% lower than a dynojet)
-Iveytune made 420awhp on 93 pump with stock exhaust mani, and stock intake I believe.
"I am not going to play word games, it spools the same if not better than stock but will make 460-500 wheel HP in the right hands"- Quoted by Sean from Ivey.
-Iveytune made 401 on pump with a car w/o cams....

Three pump sheets doesnt really constitute the "norm." There is still much data to be had.

-Iveytune made 479awhp on 100 octane and more boost obviously
-R/T Ernie made 488awhp on E85 on stock ported exhaust mani

These are the only Dyno sheet proven cars I know of. I think we are at a point of bench racing now, which is stupid. I originally stated 400-450. Most owners are probably on the lower end of that range. But that doesnt mean this turbo cant make 450whp....

To achieve 420-430, I would suggest- fmic, licp, cams, injectors, pump, ported ex mani, intake, SD (if its your cup of tea), o2, exhaust, good tune, etc.

With that being said, I suppose I have a goal for myself in the next 30 days after my parts arrive. 450+, pump, stock block, here I come.
