PTB Surging Issue
So my gf keeps telling me that when accelerating up a hill, she hears her BOV opening up, which I told her was impossible, because it holds 29-30psi just fine at WOT.
I took the car for a spin, and when spooling up the turbo, up to 8psi is absolutely fine, but anything after 8psi and the turbo starts surging/fluttering very bad....this is with maybe 50% throttle in 3rd gear for example, if I steady increase boost to about 10-11psi, this happens every time after about 8psi.
Any ways to fix this?
Currently runnin the Hallman Pro RX MBC, Forge Non-adjustable BOV, and Forge 24psi WGA, tightened almost all the way.
I noticed this when I dyno'd the car about 6 months back as well, but never paid it much attention, just figured the car "doesn't like being on the dyno", as doing road WOT pulls is absolutely fine.
