Hi all , has anyone done a back to back comparison on the HKS turbo and the Titanium turbine aluminium compressor version of the 9RS turbo ?
I'm interested to know if they are very similar turbine response wise in the real world and on the street . I'm told the 9RS is the most responsive of the std frame 10.5cm turbos and I want to know if the HKS one can match or better it given its ball bearings and larger wheels .
I want the best low end torque performance I can get without reducing turbine housing size and having the hot side choke .
I want brutal low to mid range torque from a two litre that can still rev past 6500 and have good street manners . I don't care if boost drops off here and wouldn't aim for more than about 17-18 pounds of boost anyway .
A .
