Hello guys!!!

I want to buy an ACT clutch kit for my car.... Searching on internet I found this clutch kit: F1 XTREME 6 PUCK ACT. This kit include the same pressure plate of the ACT HD 6 puck, and the other thing, is cheaper than ACT HD clutch kit...

the first diferent that I found was the disc (F1 racing disc non ACT) but, my question is, there´s other diferent between F1 xtreme and ACT HD......

The specs are the same: holds 651 FT/tq

And what it your tq???

My goals are 500-550 whp, maybe, 460 tq....

 

So you want to buy an even cheaper replica of a cheap clutch that always fails? Good luck with that.

Nop, i don´t think that it´s replica... The F1 kit have the same ACT Pressure Plate, now the clutch disc it´s diferent, not is ACT.

 

For your power goals you are already heading in the wrong direction as far as a clutch goes. I have yet to see a single disc clutch perform well on an evo. Don't skimp on a clutch or you will render your car useless. I have had two ACT 6 pucks and both ruined both my evo's. Invest in a nice twin disc so you wont kick yourself in the head down the road.

In my opinion I hav had the puck disc,, and its a grabby clutch,, not good for a stock tcase, or launches,, go with the HD plate and ST disc,, this way u will be able the slip the clutch,, when u launch,, saving ur tranny and stuff,,
