Long-term evaluations of Xede

Can people who have had the Xede for several months please comment on the unit and what problems or downsides they have noticed. Also, please specify if the Xede was custom tuned on the car.

Sure I really dont consider 5K miles and 3 months as long term but as far as the consistancy and safety of the xede it has been flawless. The only trouble codes that pop up are a 0300 (random misfire) three times that is seemingly a fluke and I have informed shiv about it. Other systems are seemingly getting this also. I have had it customed tuned by shiv as well as now tweek myself and with him over the phone. Consistancy is the key and the Xede has no "personality" or " bad habits" a very powerful tool also if you know or have someone that can tweek for even more power or depending on the situation. I have done multiple auto x track sessoins (on 93 octane to prove a point in the middle of texas The control and safety of the Xede was flawless!!) and drive hard everyday. A solid system and a powerful tool with the ability to set it and forget it.

I've been a XEDE user since late May. My Evo has about 6500 miles on the XEDE. Initially I had stage 0 then upgraded to stage 1 with boost control and cam gears.

I have had no problems or surprises.

My car was custom-tuned by Vishnu, making ~55hp above stock with Stage 1 (91 octane) on Vishnu's dyno.

I got my XEDE in October as part of a Stage 1. I have had zero problems with the XEDE. Shiv did the tuning and I installed everything else. I have really enjoyed the car during the last couple of months! BTW, made 309WHP on a DynoJet in Houston in 95 deg air.
