Crank Question-HELP!

Should the crank pulley sit flush on the crank?

As of right now, it appears my crank pulley is sitting about an 1/8th of an inch or a little more off the crank.
My car is currently destroying crank sensors, and it appears this could be the cause.

The car was dynoed, has a little over 1k miles, before it died after I brought it home. Upon inspection, there were a lot of loose components. Timing, oil lines, etc.

So, I was thinking, if the components were loose enough, for a long enough time, could this cause the pulley to become out of round, or cause a burr, etc to cause the crank pulley not to be able to seat properly on the crank.

Thanks for the responses!

Thanks Mikey.

Still need help here.I just got an email from the shop, and he said he has already confired that everything was assembled correctly. Also said the toner wheel does not look bent, but it is obvious that it ha been hitting the sensor and this is what is cutting the balance shaft belt.

Said the sprocket for the balance shafts could possibly be too thin. Or that the crank is not centered correctly.

I dont know enough to give an opinion at this point.
