BOV Issue or What?

So over the past couple of weeks, with nothing else being changed, my car has started chittering the BOV badly at partial throttle situations. Jerky on/off boost behavior. I have also thought the car was a little down on power so I reset my boost guage and did a few 3rd gear pulls and it's about 2psi off normal peak boost. Is the BOV going south?

It's a bolt-ons IX with the stock BOV tuned to 26psi on 93 octane. Been solid for a long time. Now the BOV chitters like some kind of ricer unit. Wondering what changed.

Anybody? I kept the IX BOV because (true to what is said on here) it is very drivable. Now the thing chitters like a pressure cooker gone mad and modulating part throttle is jerky

Have you done all the basic checks yet, like a boost leak test...check the line running to your bov?
For testing purposes only, you can try turning your bov backwards and do a 3rd gear pull and compare the boost plot to before to determine if the bov is now leaking.

I thought the nine bov started failing around 26 so it probably could be the bov
